The perfect way to see San Blas in a day. We pick you up at your hotel, cross the Guna Yala comarca by 4x4 and sail to three islands, including the famous Natural Pool, where the sea forms a turquoise pool in the middle of the ocean and the water doesn't reach your waist.
It is the most requested route because it skips nothing essential and still fits into one day: Perro Chico with its shipwreck, Isla Diablo and the Natural Pool. Departure at 5:00 am, about two and a half hours of mountain road to the port, first island around 8:30, island lunch at midday and the return at 15:30.
Door-to-door transport, boat with life jackets, a typical lunch and a local guide, all included. The comarca entrance fee is separate and paid that day, in cash or by card to the driver. You book with a deposit and pay the rest on the day of the tour.

$114 per traveller. That covers transport from Panama City, the sailing, the meals of the format and the guide. Outside it sits the comarca entry, $22 for foreigners and $7 for residents, paid in cash on the way in.
This route names 2: Isla Perro Chico, Isla Diablo. Some formats sell an area rather than a single island, because in the remote cays you anchor where the sea allows that day.
Departure is always before dawn, around 5:00, because the mountain pass and the tide impose it. The return depends on the format: single-day trips come back that afternoon, multi-night ones on the last day.
In two concrete things: one extra stop and the village visit. This route stays with the islands and closes with the swim; the other adds Isla Pelícano and an hour inside an inhabited community. If the cultural part is not your thing, here you do not pay for it.
Because what you pay for is the whole day — the 4x4, the driver, the boat and the permits — not the number of stops. For the same cost, here the hours are split between Isla Perro Chico, Isla Diablo and the sandbank; on the other route they concentrate on fewer spots and you stay longer at each.
The Isla Perro Chico stop has it right in front, so anyone with a mask can take a look. What this departure does not do is build the morning around it: there is a tour that starts there first thing, when the water is stillest and the bottom is visible.
