Adventure
A total immersion experience: three days exploring remote cays and living alongside the Guna community. The most profound way to get to know Guna Yala.
For the traveller who wants to go past the scenery. Three days living the archipelago: remote cays that few people visit, snorkelling on untouched reef, nights in cabins over the sea and real time spent with the Guna community — their culture, their cooking and their history.
With three days the trip changes in kind: there is time to reach cays that a single-day excursion rules out on distance alone, and to stay in the community long enough that it stops being a visit and starts being a conversation. Day one, arrival and nearby islands; day two, the remote cays; day three, the Guna community and the return.
Includes transport, boat, accommodation, all meals and a local guide. The comarca entrance fee is separate. It needs booking well in advance and holds with a deposit; write to us and we'll confirm which dates have space.
Great if you travel to understand a place, not to tick it off a list.
Maybe not your tour if you are short on days or expecting hotel comforts: out here you live the way the island lives.
Transfer, first islands, snorkeling, and a night in an overwater bungalow.
Sailing to the most remote keys and pristine reefs.
Cultural exchange and return to the city in the afternoon.
