Adventure
The island made famous by a shipwreck: snorkeling over the sunken ship at Isla Perro, picture-perfect waters, and the Natural Pool.
The most photographed tour in San Blas. You swim over the famous sunken ship — the wreck that travelled the world on social media — surrounded by colourful fish in clear water, walking in from the shore, with no need to know how to dive. You also visit white-sand islands and the Natural Pool.
The wreck stop is the first of the morning, around 8:30, and that is deliberate: it is when there are fewest boats around and the water is stillest, which is when you actually see the bottom. After that the day opens out to the islands and lunch, closing with the return at 15:30.
Pickup from 5:00 am at your hotel, door-to-door 4x4 and about two and a half hours of mountain road. Includes boat with life jackets, snorkelling gear, a typical lunch and a local guide; the comarca fee is paid on the day of the tour, in cash or by card to the driver.
Great if you saw the shipwreck in a photograph and that is what you came for: this is where it is.
Maybe not your tour if you want an empty island: this is the most popular stop in the comarca.
