Adventure
The tranquil side of Pelícano Island, beyond the famous shipwreck: relaxing snorkeling, the beach, and a sunset you’ll never forget.
Isla Pelícano became famous through its neighbour's shipwreck, but there is far more to it: quiet snorkelling away from the crowd, white sand, and one of the best sunsets in the comarca. This tour deliberately puts free time and an unhurried pace above a packed itinerary.
It leaves an hour later than the other routes — the first island is around 9:00 — precisely to miss the morning peak of boats. That changes the day: you arrive as others are already moving on, and you get the island clearer. Lunch at 12:30 and the last swim in the Natural Pool at 15:30.
Pickup from 5:00 am at your hotel, door-to-door 4x4 and about two and a half hours of road. Includes boat with life jackets, a typical lunch and a local guide; the comarca entrance fee is paid the same day, in cash or by card to the driver.
Great if you would rather be properly present in two places than pass through five.
Maybe not your tour if you want to squeeze the day: this route is deliberately slow.
4x4 tour departing from Panama City.
Relaxing snorkeling and free time on the beach.
Fresh food on the island.
One last swim at sunset, then back to the city.
